About CMUD
A institute built by doctors for doctors.
Since 2008, CMUD has trained over 3400+ doctors of MBBS and higher Degrees, in diagnostic ultrasound and Doppler imaging — combining rigorous theory with daily, supervised scanning.
Our Story
Founded around a simple belief: ultrasound is learnt at the bedside.
CMUD was established by Cardiologist Prof Dr Mohammad Shahidullah, Radiologist Dr Rezaul Kabir, Dr Zahidur Rahman Shumon, and Doctor Tanvir Mahmood who felt that every year hundreds of MBBS doctors serve as primary care physicians in rural areas of Bangladesh without any exposure to medical ultrasound.
We still keep our batches small, our equipment current, and our faculty deeply involved in patient care — so every MBBS doctor leaves us ready to scan independently.
